Sensitive information
Do not submit Social Security numbers, driver's-license numbers, banking credentials, passwords, complete payment-card information, medical records, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary forms, chat, text, or email. We may delete information we did not request when reasonably practicable and subject to applicable recordkeeping obligations.
Photos and information about others
Photos may contain device or location metadata. Before sending a photo or another person's information, make sure you have authority to share it and remove information you do not want transmitted.
Floor visualizer
Our floor visualizer is designed to process a selected room photo locally in your browser. It does not intentionally upload that photo to Accolade Flooring unless you separately send it through a form, email, scheduling tool, or another communication method.
Information collected automatically
Our website platform and service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser, device, operating system, approximate area, pages viewed, links selected, visit date and duration, referring source, and cookie identifiers.
2. How we use information
We may use information to respond to inquiries; prepare estimates; schedule and provide services; send project or appointment messages; maintain records; understand and improve website performance; measure marketing; prevent fraud and technical issues; comply with legal obligations; and protect our business, customers, and others.
We do not use personal information for a materially different purpose without notice or consent when legally required.
Project communications
When you provide an email address or telephone number with an inquiry, you authorize us and providers acting for us to respond about that inquiry, estimate, appointment, or project. You may ask us to stop optional marketing messages at any time. Message and data rates may apply to texts.
3. Cookies and analytics
This website may use necessary, functional, analytics, and advertising cookies, along with pixels, local storage, and similar technologies. These tools help the website operate, remember preferences, understand traffic, and measure marketing.
Where available, you can manage non-essential cookies through the website's cookie banner or your browser settings. Restricting cookies may affect some features.
Privacy signals
Do Not Track settings are not interpreted consistently. We process legally recognized universal opt-out signals when required by law and supported by our website tools.
Squarespace and Google
Squarespace may collect traffic, device, form, cookie, and usage information needed to host and analyze the site. Google services such as Analytics, Ads, Search Console, Maps, and YouTube may collect information according to Google's policies. Read the Squarespace Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy.
4. Third-party services
We use service providers to host the website, deliver forms and email, schedule appointments, communicate with customers, analyze performance, and support our business. They may process information under their own policies and agreements.

Other providers
Payment, financing, invoice, chat, communication, embedded-media, and social-media providers may process information needed to provide their features under their own terms. Do not send complete payment-card information or banking passwords through ordinary website forms or email.
5. How information is shared
We do not sell personal information for money. Certain analytics or advertising activity may be treated as a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under some state laws.
We may disclose information to providers that help operate our business; contractors, advisers, or partners when reasonably necessary to provide requested services; legal or government authorities when required; parties needed to protect rights, property, or safety; parties involved in a business transfer; or others with your consent or direction.
Providers may access information only as reasonably necessary to perform services, subject to their agreements, policies, and applicable law.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, customer communication, business records, disputes, agreements, and legal, tax, accounting, or insurance requirements. Periods vary by information type and legal obligation. Information may be deleted or anonymized when no longer needed.
7. Information security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards intended to protect information from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure. No website, internet transmission, email system, or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.
If a security incident requires notice under applicable law, we will provide the required notices to affected individuals and authorities.
8. Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live and applicable exceptions, you may be able to request confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy of certain information; opt out of certain targeted advertising, sharing, or sales; or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent.
