Terms of use
These terms govern use of the Accolade Flooring website. They do not replace a written estimate, proposal, or service contract for a flooring project.
Effective July 30, 2026
Flooring projects may have a separate written estimate, proposal, and contract. If a signed project contract conflicts with these website terms, the signed contract controls for that project.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using this website, you agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
You must use the website lawfully and in accordance with these terms. If you use it for a business or organization, you represent that you are authorized to act for it.
2. Website purpose
This website provides general information about Accolade Flooring Inc., our services, service areas, completed projects, and ways to contact or schedule with us.
Website content is informational and promotional. It is not a binding offer, construction specification, guarantee, warranty, or project contract.
3. Estimates and project contracts
A website request does not create a contractor-customer relationship or require Accolade Flooring to accept or perform a project. Preliminary pricing, timing, or service information discussed online, by telephone, email, text, or scheduling tool remains informational until confirmed in writing.
Final pricing and scheduling may depend on inspection and project conditions, including:
- Square footage and layout
- Existing flooring and subfloor conditions
- Removal, repairs, or preparation
- Stairs, transitions, trim, and custom details
- Material availability and customer selections
- Access, occupancy, and scheduling conditions
- Concealed or previously unknown conditions
Important: A form submission, online booking, or verbal conversation does not replace a written project agreement when one is required or appropriate.
4. Appointments and communications
An appointment selected online is a request and is not guaranteed until confirmed by Accolade Flooring. By providing a telephone number or email address, you authorize us to contact you about your inquiry, estimate, appointment, or project. Message and data rates may apply.
Please provide reasonable notice for cancellations or changes. We may reschedule because of weather, emergencies, project delays, access issues, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the website for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purposes; submit false or impersonated information; attempt unauthorized access; introduce malware or automated attacks; interfere with security or availability; systematically collect or commercially copy content without permission; or violate another person's rights.
We may restrict access when we reasonably believe use violates these terms or threatens the website, our business, or another person.
6. Website content
We try to keep information accurate and current but do not guarantee that every description, image, availability statement, service area, price reference, or other item is complete, current, or error-free.
Floor appearance varies with lighting, photography, screens, existing conditions, wood species and grain, finish systems, and wear. Website photos are examples and do not guarantee identical results. We may correct errors and change website content or availability without prior notice.
7. Project photos and reviews
Project photographs and videos demonstrate general workmanship and services. Customer-provided content or identifiable private-property media will be used only as permitted by the customer, an applicable agreement, or law.
Reviews reflect individual experiences and do not guarantee identical results. Nothing in these terms prohibits or penalizes an honest review or lawful opinion.
8. Intellectual property
The website's original design, branding, logos, text, graphics, project descriptions, layouts, and other original content are owned by or licensed to Accolade Flooring and protected by applicable law.
You may view or print a reasonable portion for personal, noncommercial use. You may not reproduce, republish, modify, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit the content without prior written permission. Third-party names, logos, and trademarks remain their owners' property.
9. Third-party services and links
The website may link to or use third-party scheduling, maps, reviews, video, analytics, advertising, social-media, communication, payment, or financing services. We do not control their availability, content, security, accuracy, or privacy practices. Their own terms and policies may apply.
10. Website disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, compatibility, or freedom from harmful components.
We do not disclaim any warranty, responsibility, or consumer right that cannot legally be waived. Applicable workmanship, product, or service warranties will be stated in the relevant project documents or provided by the manufacturer.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Accolade Flooring will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising solely from use of, inability to use, or reliance on general website content.
This limitation does not restrict responsibility under a signed project contract, applicable warranty, consumer-protection law, or other law that cannot be limited.
12. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to be responsible for claims, losses, or expenses resulting from unlawful website misuse, violation of these terms, infringement of another person's rights, or content you had no right to submit.
This section does not apply to claims caused by Accolade Flooring's violation of law or obligations that cannot legally be shifted to a website user.
13. Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless federal or other applicable law requires otherwise. Project disputes may also be governed by a signed agreement and applicable contractor and consumer-protection laws.
If a provision is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to the fullest extent permitted by law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms to reflect website, service, technology, business, or legal changes. The effective date above shows the latest update. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires another process.
