Carpet to White Oak Hardwood
Two carpeted rooms transformed with site-finished white oak, with the new boards aligned to the adjoining hallway.
New hardwood. A connected feel.
Carpet was removed from two rooms, and the exposed subfloor was reviewed and prepared for new hardwood. The starting layout followed the adjoining hallway so the new rows would meet the connected space cleanly.
The 2¼-inch white oak was installed and sanded on site, then finished with one coat of Bona IntenseSeal and two coats of Berger-Seidle AquaSeal GreenStar.

A careful layout from the first row.
A green-beam laser established a straight reference. Measurements and room geometry guided board placement and the connection to the adjoining hallway.
