YOUR FLOORS, YOUR WAY

Make new flooring feel at home beside the old.

A kitchen renovation can leave gaps where cabinets stood or an awkward meeting point between floors. For your home, we’ll help you work out those details before finishing begins. We’ll compare the existing flooring, explain repair or installation options, and use color samples where appropriate to help the rooms feel connected.

Homeowner feedback

What homeowners are saying

Google review excerpt★★★★★
“The scope of the job included removing the old kitchen tile, leveling the subfloor, matching the new flooring to our existing hardwood, and refinishing everything for a seamless look. The end result is beautiful, and we couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.”

Questions from homeowners

Questions about work in your home

We uncovered old hardwood during a renovation. Are the nail holes and patches repairable?

Many small holes can be addressed during refinishing, while missing or unsuitable patches may need replacement boards. We’ll check the remaining thickness and the surrounding flooring before recommending how much of the original floor to keep.

Can a new kitchen floor connect neatly to the older hallway?

We’ll compare board sizes, direction, species, and finished heights. The exposed subfloor and appliance clearances also matter. We plan a connection that works with the existing floor and discuss whether the hallway needs refinishing too.

Only the floor by the back door is damaged. Can that area be replaced?

We’ll look at the affected boards and check whether moisture is still entering the area. A localized replacement may be possible once the cause is resolved. We also discuss where the finishing work can stop naturally.

Can the repair keep the same look as the older rooms?

We’ll compare replacement boards with the existing flooring and can sample the color on site. Age, grain, and previous work influence the result. Matching the finish across connected rooms may help, but a perfect match is not guaranteed.
