Can you deal with scratches and pet stains before we move into an older apartment?
We’ll look at the scratches, stain depth, and remaining wood before recommending the work. Sanding can improve surface wear, while deeply stained boards may need replacement. Share your move-in date so we can discuss drying and curing time.
Our condo has noise rules. Will replacing the hardwood help?
We’ll go over the association requirements and the floor construction before discussing products or underlayment. Noise depends on the whole assembly. Sanding and refinishing an existing floor by itself will not improve sound isolation.
Can just one room be repaired after a leak from the unit above?
The water source needs to be resolved first. We’ll look at the affected flooring and subfloor, including moisture conditions, before deciding what can stay. The repair may extend beyond the visible stain, and connecting it to undamaged flooring needs planning.
We share the front stairs with another unit. How will the work affect access?
We’ll go over the equipment route and any shared hallways before scheduling. We agree on access arrangements and explain when wet finishes prevent people from crossing the work area. Building requirements should be shared in advance.
